Dave S: Charlottetown, PE, Canada; A graduate of the Film/TV Production Program (Humber College), Dave got his start writing with the first issue of The Buzz (1995). Since then, he’s written for Meet Me Half Way, SOLEDAD, Art Decades, Rue Morgue, Studio CX (Cathay Pacific), CBC PEI, and restroslahsers.net, etc. In the early 2000s, his And Yet I Blame Hollywood cartoon was adapted/broadcast nationwide on CBC-TV. In 2021, he was awarded the Lifetime Achievement Award (City of Charlottetown; Arts & Culture Awards), in 2022, a PEI Heritage Award (PEI Museum & Heritage Foundation), and in 2023, a City of Charlottetown Heritage Day Award. In 2024, he was named Favourite Writer 2023 by Sequential Magazine for his work on Dark Sanctuary.
